Typography is an object of everyday life for all of us. It is omnipresent and yet usually not consciously perceived. The processes behind the design of typefaces or their applications, and the cultural and individual factors that contribute to design decisions, are usually not comprehensible to outsiders. »Perspectives on Typography« is a curation of the multifaceted nature of typographic design. Articles, essays, interviews, project presentations and visual interpretations of typography offer both designers and non-designers the opportunity to broaden their perspective and create a framework for reflection on their own perception of typography.
